Labfors 5 - Flexible Configuration with a Parallel Bioreactor Option 

The new INFORS HT Labfors 5 bench-top bioreactor provides the most flexible system for culture volumes up to 10 L. Pre-configured packages for microbials, cell cultures and photosynthetic organisms are available. Special features include an improved controller with integrated OPC server and a multi-bioreactor option for statistical validity and rapid results.

Labfors 5 is a leading bench-top bioreactor, providing the user with an easy to handle, flexible and upgradeable system for culture volumes up to 10 L. A choice of pre-configured packages for microbials and cell cultures as well was an extensive list of options are available. A special LED lightning option even qualifies the Labfors for
cultivation of photosynthetic active organisms. The new “Super Safe Sampler” provides reliable aseptic sampling.

The improved touch screen controller provides accurate and reliable measurement, control and communication with supervisory software. The user interface has been optimised after detailed testing by users, psychologists and usability experts and features simple and intuitive operation. An integrated OPC server makes the connection with external devices as simple as possible and provides a link to SCADA software via a network.

The Labfors 5 features a new multiple bioreactor option which allows up to 6 vessels to be independently controlled from a single touch screen. Key parameters for all six vessels are shown in an overview main screen. Special features optimise the system for parallel bioreactor operation.
